Parish Council

Fr. Mark Molling - Pastor |
I have the announcement of my ordination hanging in a place that I see each morning. The cover reads: "Today I am given to you by God that I might serve you that together we might serve God." This has become the motto of my priestly ministry. In the Sacrament of Baptism we are united with each other as part of the community of faith in this common mission of serving our God. Within the parish we proclaim the Word and celebrate the Sacraments that build the community that supports, strengthens and encourages each of us to be faithful servants of our loving God. Together we pursue this great calling at St. Paul. |

My name is Mary Taugher. I am a retired occupational therapist. I worked for a long time in several health and human services facilities in the Milwaukee area and for many years as the Director of Rehabilitative Services for the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division. Following my retirement from that position, I was a faculty member in the Occupational Therapy Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for eight years and, though now retired from that position as well, continue to teach an on-line course for UWM for occupational therapy graduate students. I love working with students and this gives me a chance to continue to do so. I had been a life-long member of St Mary Parish in Hales Corners but during the past five years have been delighted to find a welcoming faith community at St. Paul’s. I have been a member of the Parish Council for the past year. One of the highlights of my introduction to St. Paul’s was re-connecting with several former students and former professional colleagues who welcomed me to the parish and helped me to feel at home in a new location. I look forward to working with other parishioners and staff members to continue to build an active and inclusive faith community at St. Paul’s. |

Jim Dunlap - Trustee-Treasurer |
|
My wife Marcy and I have been parishioners at St. Paul Parish since 1998. In that time I have been active as a lector, parish council member, personnel committee member, member of the Living Stones capital campaign and am now parish trustee-treasurer. Marcy has been active as a Eucharistic minister and as a member of the prayer and worship committee. We have especially enjoyed sharing our faith with and through our renew group. We have five children and have actively encouraged their participation in parish activities including attending and participating in Mass, fish fries, working on the chair committee and the auction, and attending many parish functions. St. Paul Parish is the center of both our spiritual and social lives and has positively impacted the lives of our children. We really enjoy worshiping with you here.

Margot Schumacher - Human Concerns Liaison |
Hi, my name is Margot Schumacher. This is my first year of the second term on Church Council. St. Paul’s has been my Parish for about eighteen years. I am a Hospice Nursing Assistant, and am often amazed how God leads and sustains me in my profession. I used to teach Rel. Ed. for many years. I am also in charge of the ministry “Sew warm for the needy”. Every year, it is just amazing how God enables us in our effort to keep a few Inner City kids a little warmer. I am blessed with three wonderful children. My oldest, Yvonne, is 25. She is working towards her Master degree in Applied Science at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Sybille, her younger sister, is 23, and will graduate from Edgewood College in Madison with a Bachelor of Science, Nursing degree in May 2013 Martin, my youngest, is 21. He will finish his 6 months internship at Bemis Manufacturing in Neenah, Wisconsin. He will graduate from UW Madison with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree in December 2013. I like to be physically active by road biking, hiking, XC skiing, walking, and general exercise. I am also an art quilter. Due to time restrictions, this talent has been left mostly dormant in recent years.

Hi, my name is Mary Beth Kraemer, and I am one of the newest members on church council. My husband Greg and I have been members of St. Paul since 1998, when we moved here from Waukesha and were searching for Catholic education for our children. We have 3 daughters who have benefitted from the St. Paul Catholic school family. Sarah is now 17 and a Senior at West. Emily just graduated 8th grade from St. Paul and is a Freshman at West. Hannah anchors me in the school, a 7th grader this year at St. Paul. My involvement with our Church has mainly been through the school, as scout leader, volleyball coach, playground mom, and kindergarten profile artist. Professionally, I work as a homecare and hospice nurse for Prohealth. I have done this for 20 years, and feel privileged to see how God and faith work in those whose lives are interrupted by illness. I look forward to this new challenge, working and praying with the Council, to accomplish the goals and live the Mission. |

Chad Ostram - School Board Laison |
Hello. My name is Chad Ostram. My wife Nikki and I have been attending St. Pauls since 2005. We have two younger children. Initially, our babysitter (who is active in the parish) would bring our son along with her to her meetings. We joked that everyone knew who our son was, but didn't know who his parents were. It was our babysitter that got me involved in our parish. I started out by helping put together a few presentations for her. Then I was asked to help on the stewardship committee, and then got involved with maintaining the parish website. I continued to volunteer (and be volunteered) on other committees as needed, as well as helping with the church's dinner auction. I have been serving on the parish council since 2011. I feel it is important that each parishioner do what they can to make this their church, and that is why I remain active within the parish. |

Marybeth Ziobro - Lifelong Faith Formation Laison |
Hello, my name is Marybeth Ziobro and I would like to introduce myself as a new member to Parish Council. My husband of 20 years, John and our 2 children have been members of St. Paul’s Parish since 2000. Our daughter Katherine is a sophomore at KMHS and our son, Robert is in 8th grade at KMMS. Both of the kids have been in religious education at St Paul’s from an early age and they made their First Holy Communion in the Gym. We were all very involved with Building of the new Church from signing our names on the big Gold Cross which sits on top of the Church to putting a family stone with our name under the Altar before it was constructed. We have loved watching our children grow up with a positive Catholic faith from St. Paul’s Parish. As a family we have all enjoyed volunteering for the Dinner Auction in one way or another over the years. Katherine sings in the Choir and loves it, Robert is an Altar Server, and John enjoys being an Usher. I am looking forward to serving on Parish Council as a Liaison for Lifelong Faith Formation and feel very blessed to be a part of this Parish Community. |
