In changing times, people need flexible and creative ways to share their gifts with those who need it most. At St. Paul, we have a variety of ways people can get involved in outreach ministries. Whether you like the camaraderie of a group or prefer to help from home, we have many ways you can bless others with your heart and hands.

Here are a few ministries that offer ways you and your family can help anytime/anywhere!

• Prayer Network
  • One of the most important ways we can serve others is through prayer. We currently have 15 parishioners in this ministry, praying for the needs of others upon request. Our purpose is to pray for individuals in need of the power of prayer in numbers. We welcome all new prayer intentions as well as new parish members wishing to join our ministry at any time. Contact prayernetwork@stpaulgenesee.net or call the Parish office. 
• Work & Pray
  • If you like to crochet and would like to share some love, consider joining our ministry. Join our crocheting group for in-person camaraderie or crochet from your favorite chair in your spare time at home. All levels welcome! Contact Mary Kral for more information.
• Mt. Meru Coffee
  • Each cup stirs hope! Fair trade coffee, which directly supports farmers in Tanzania, Africa, is available for sale on the self-service cart in the St. Paul Gathering Space or buy online.  Contact Mark Montanye for more information or check out www.mtmerucoffee.org
• Heavenly Babies
  • This baby-shower-in-a-bag ministry delivers love to moms and babies in need. Help from home by offering to pick up/wash/return baby clothes and supplies. Can be done during the week! Contact Jennifer Aldrich to see how you can help moms who choose life for their babies.
• FREE Clothing Share, April & October (annually)
  • You give away more than clothes when you clean your closets and donate what you can’t use—you give usable items a new life and you give away smiles! St. Paul’s will be hosting a FREE Clothing Share open to everyone! Contact Jerie Roder for more information or find details in upcoming bulletins and on the website.

• Kettle Moraine Food Pantry
  • Hunger has no season. Monetary donations are needed most, but there are other ways you share your time and treasure to help combat hunger in our community. Contact Jolene Johnson Van Dan Elzen at the Kettle Moraine Food Pantry.
• St. Joseph's Tool Chest
  • St. Joseph's Tool Chest (SJTC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to gather new and used tools, refurbish them as needed, and distribute them free of charge to individuals, families, and organizations locally, regionally, and internationally. Our workshop is located in New Berlin, WI and we are affiliated with Holy Apostles Catholic Church there. Twelve of the 18 members of SJTC are actively involved in the refurbishing process.
     
    Most of our tools, used and new, are gathered on April Tools Day held at the church parking lot. The enthusiasm created on April Tools Day results in tools being donated throughout the year.
    We can arrange to pick up tools; some donors prefer to bring them to our workshop.
     
    Though SJTC has been operational since 2008 (refer to the History section), we opened in the New Berlin location the summer of 2016.  Since then we have reclaimed and delivered over 3,700 tools to local, regional, and international organizations.

• Franciscan Peacemakers:
  • Franciscan Peacemakers provides a pathway to sustainable, healthy, safe, and productive lives for women engaging in prostitution due to trauma, human sex trafficking or drug addiction. Support this southeastern Wisconsin ministry by shopping their online store for yummy bath and body products, donating, or volunteering your time to help make a difference in the lives of women creating a better tomorrow.   • ERAS Senior Network: The mission of Eras Senior Network is to engage and support seniors, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in leading meaningful lives in the Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha communities. Give of yourself by offering to drive a senior to the store, make a friendly phone call to check in with and chat with an older person, or help by donating much-needed items and supplies. • Hope Center,  502 N. East Avenue, Waukesha.
  We need your help to refill our racks in the clothing shop, along with restocking our hygiene products. Our most needed clothing items are:
  
  
  -men's light weight jackets and hoodies (S- 2XL)
  - men's boxers (S-2XL)
  -men's shorts ( all sizes)
  - short sleeve or tank top men's undershirt ( S-2XL)
  - Women's shorts (all sizes)
  - shampoo and conditioner 
  - body wash
  - lotion
  - deodorant (men and women)
  - bug spray 
  - sunscreen 
  - twin, full & queen size sheet sets and comforters
  - new bed pillows
