To all the parishioners at St. Bruno and St. Paul Parish:
I write this letter to all of you with many mixed emotions. I
would like to inform you as of January 8, 2018 my new
assignment of Diaconal Ministry will be at St. Jerome Parish in
Oconomowoc, WI.
While I am excited to take on the challenge of a new Parish
and various duties and responsibilities, it is with heavy heart
that I am leaving the parishes and duties at both St. Bruno and
St. Paul Parishes.
St. Bruno’s has been the home parish for myself and my family
for the past 20+ years. Although my involvement at St. Paul
parish has only been for the past 3+ years, we have developed
and enjoyed many close relationships in that time.
This decision / discernment was made after a lengthy time
period and with much prayer. I will continue to fulfill all my
current obligations at both parishes, which will end with my
most anticipated act of service that being the Baptism of my
twin granddaughters on January 7, 2018 during the 10:30am
mass at St. Bruno.
I want to thank all of you from the “bottom” of my heart for all
the prayers and support that you have given me and my
family over the years.
I don’t want to say “goodbye” because I know our paths will
continue to cross. Please know I will continue to keep all of
you in my prayers and I ask for your prayers in return. God
bless all of you always.
In Christ,
Deacon John C. Mezydlo
