MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! Advent isn't quite over yet, but Fr. Chuck and I want to
extend a greeting for a blessed and joyous Christmas for all of our parish family members.
In many ways you are our family.
We priests and all of you are
deeply connected by our prayer together at Mass, by sharing together in the greatest meal, the Eucharist, by celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation, by the baptism of our parish's children, by teaching children (you at home, we at the parish), by fellowship experienced on the pastoral council and within committees and organizations, by burying loved ones and by other precious moments.
Thank you for letting us share in these important life experiences with you and your immediate family members. You've warmed us with your care. You've inspired us with your faith and the living out of that faith. We carry you in our hearts and believe that we are found in your hearts. Thank you so much for the richness of Jesus you bring to our lives.
In turn
Fr. Chuck and I pray that everyone of us knows the stirrings of Jesus within our life experiences. We pray that everyone looks for Him and hungers for Him in all the right places and makes use of the means, tools and occasions He has made available to us today. Rejoice this Christmas because
Christ is born TODAY in us and through one another. May God continue to bless each of you and your families in a special way throughout this season and beyond!
Merry Christmas from Fr. Chuck and Myself! Fr. Ralph
