As I go through life I often come across quotes that make me think and sometimes challenge me to grow or stretch. Here are some I have found posted on a Facebook page called “A Message from God”. Some things to ponder… ….
You don't have to love someone to pray for them. You don't even have to like them. Your enemies need your prayers, too. After all, how long can you pray for your enemies & still think of them as enemies? -- in conjunction with this one, you might go see the movie WAR ROOM; a powerful movie on prayer out in theaters now.
If you are experiencing dificulty in a relationship, consider this: The relationships God places in our lives provide us an opportunity to practice what we SAY we believe. Can you practice non-judgement with someone you always agree with? Can you develop compassion without someone who is going through hard times? Can you improve your capacity for UNCONDITIONAL LOVE without dealing with people who may be hard to love? Look at your relationships as opportunities to PRACTICE the principles God has put on your heart-- instead of just talking about them.
….As you move through life, make your choices from a place of love. It is not always easy, but it's always worthwhile. As you practice this, it will become easier. It will become a habit. It will become WHO YOU ARE. Amen.
