I have been involved with St. Paul Library for 35 years. The first 17 were as a volunteer and the last 18 has a part time staff member.
I graduated from UW-Stout in 1975 with a Home Economics in Business degree. Ironically, I worked in both my high school and college libraries. Before moving to Dousman in 1983, I was a kitchen designer at Green Baby Kitchen Mart.
I have been married to Jim for 44 years. Both of our sons, Jeff, age 41 and Andy, age 32 graduated from St. Paul’s.
While at St. Paul I have been active in Art and Environment, Forensics coach and judge, Watkins Sale coordinator, Scholastic Book Fair Chair since 1991, Great America Reading program, Library Club, National Geographic Bee, Civic Oration coordinator and judge, and school Spelling Bee coordinator. This is the third year I am the Student Council coordinator.
I enjoy photography, basket making, knitting, gardening, baking and alcohol ink work. Besides entering baking at Waukesha County Fair and horticulture at Wisconsin State Fair, I am also a certified judge for 4-H photography. I also enjoy spending time with my 14 year old granddaughter, Anna. And of course, I love to READ and share that passion with students!
