"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of age." Matthew 28: 19-20
God, throughout every age, has called people to Himself. He has claimed them as His own and has brought them into His Church. The Catholic Church, led by the Holy Spirit, has never been exhausted of beauty, wisdom and community to help you fall in love with Jesus Christ and live your life with Him. When you become Catholic, you say "yes" to entering into a relationship with God, the author of love, through the Church He established.
If you are interested in discovering what God has in store for you through the Catholic Church, consider joining RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). Attending RCIA is a time for you to ask questions, grow in your faith, and decide whether you want to join the Church and receive the Saraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Communion). Throughout this process you will attend sessions where you will learn the richness of the teachings of Christ through the Scriptures and Traditions of the Church. You will be presented to our parish community in a Rite of Welcome, so our family can pray for you, and then presented to the Archbishop at the Rite of Election. You won't be on this journey alone, we'll help you choose a sponsor, someone to walk with you as you discover, question, and pray about receiving the Sacraments at Easter. At the Easter Vigil Mass (the night before Easter Sunday) you will receive the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
Adults who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation in their journey of faith as Catholics are welcome to attend some or all of these sessions in order to be confirmed at the Easter Vigil.
